Music industry sources confirmed a rumor that had been lurking on several blogs and forums for months; Radiohead will headline Lollapalooza 2008 in Chicago's Grant Park August 1-3. Joining Radiohead as headliners will be Nine Inch Nails and, according to Lollapalooza sources, one other "major act." Other confirmed acts include John Butler Trio, Bloc Party, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, MGMT, The Cool Kids, Dierks Bentley, Gogol Bordello, Black Lips, Flogging Molly, and Rhymefest. According to Lolla representatives and Greg Kot, the Chicago Tribune blogger who broke the story, an official lineup announcement is still weeks away.
