In an article posted on the official Mayfest website, the organizers of Dillo Day (Northwestern University's annual end-of-the-year music festival) have announced that Chicago rapper Common will be headlining the day-long festival. Performing before Common will be Washington D.C. natives Ted Leo and The Pharmacists. The concert will be held on Saturday, May 31 at the Lakefront Landfill in Evanston, a specific time for the event has yet to be announced.

Unfortunately, those of us who don't attend Northwestern are barred from attending the event. However, I have learned from a confidential source in the Northwestern community that if you're sneaky enough you just might be able to squeeze through security.
Stay tuned to Music Via Chicago for additional announcements regarding Dillo Day.
